The Department of Interior (DOI) and Forest Services (FS) has awarded MFS Construction, LLC (MFS) an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) Alt/Repair Construction Services Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for construction, maintenance, repair and alteration of real property to support the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA).
MFS has been awarded a five (5) year contract that provides elements of construction that include, but not limited to interior and exterior building renovations; heating; ventilation and air-conditioning; to include controls; electrical; mechanical; plumbing; fire suppression; fire and security systems; communications; site-work; millwork; landscaping; fencing; masonry; concrete; asphalt paving; storm drainage; asbestos and lead abatement; mold and limited soil remediation, ancillary design and other related work. As well as new, non-complex construction services for a broad range of renovation and construction work. The projects begin in 2022 and is expected to be completed over the next five years in New Jersey, New York, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands.
MFS was selected to participate in the DOI/FS MATOC in part based on the firm’s history of success with similar projects such as United States Secret Service (USSS) Radio Division and Technical Operations Squad (TOS) Shop Construction, General Services Administration (GSA) Building 185 Renovation, World Trade Center Freedom Tower Room Expansion, Department of Labor (DOL) Site Security Improvements, and National Parks Service (NPS) Historic Site Improvements.
